Our Club supports Key Club Sponsored Youth

The Kiwanis Club of Hidden Valley-Escondido currently sponsors 3 Key Clubs. Key Clubs are designed to teach high school kids about the value of community service and to focus them on the positives surrounding them. Key Clubs get kids involved with many community service activities. Many Key Clubbers go on to leadership positions in the Key Club organization and assume leadership positions in other organizations and communities later in life. Typically, we donate about $ 4000 per year to support our Key Clubs at San Pasqual High School; San Pasqual Academy; and Escondido Charter HS .

Our club has traditionally supported the Boy Scouts, Little League, North County Interfaith Crisis Center, Los Caballeros de Aventura, Pop Warner Football, Rady's Children's Hospital, CROP (Convicts Reaching Out to People), Sister Clare's, Friends & Family Community Connection, Project Eliminate, and other worthy local charities.  We also award scholarships to deserving High School students within Escondido.
